The scientific internship of the assistant of the Department of Economics and Real Estate Management of the Tashkent University of Architecture and Construction Kakhramonov Khurshidjon took place at the Tomsk State University of Architecture and Building.

The purpose of the internship was research work within the framework of a PhD dissertation (Increasing the efficiency of housing stock management in the context of digitalization).

The reason for choosing Tomsk State University of Architecture and Building was that the university is one of the leading construction universities in Siberia. Provides fundamental and applied training of bachelors, masters, specialists, technicians in the areas of architecture and construction profile. It occupies 49th place among technical universities, and 2nd place among universities of architecture and construction (after MGSU).

During the scientific internship, the problems of a doctoral dissertation (PhD) on the topic “Improving the efficiency of housing stock management in the context of digitalization” were discussed, as well as, its relevance, goals, objectives and structure of the dissertation. In the world, the housing stock and its management, given their social importance, require special attention. The housing stock is a complex and unique object of management, each residential building is unique and has different architectural, structural and space-planning solutions, therefore, a well-developed scheme and management system is required for each residential property. Consequently, there is an increasing need for effective management of real estate, both privately and publicly owned. But real estate management becomes effective only if there is the necessary and sufficient information about each property located on the territory of the state. In this regard, the modernization of the sphere of housing stock management is decisive, carried out by methodological and technological solutions aimed at economic and information and analytical support for management, including the search, collection, processing, transformation, storage, dissemination and use of data on each property. The head of the internship gave advice on the list of necessary literature required to read in order to improve the theoretical basis of the dissertation, as well as recommendations on the structure of the dissertation research.

In the period from December 6-12, 2021 at Azimut 360 LLC, in one of the organizations that closely cooperates with the Tomsk State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, a practical part of a foreign scientific internship was completed, during which he mastered the practical aspects of real estate management and received skills in working with digital software products, such as Polygon PRO, CADASTRE software, Public cadastral map, Urban planning atlas, 1C: Rent and property management, BIT Property management.

One of the key points of the internship program was a visit to the scientific and educational center for the modernization of housing and communal services in the regions of Siberia and the Far East, which was located at Tomsk State University of Architecture and Building. During the internship, skills were acquired to work with a set of educational and laboratory equipment, including an autonomous heating system, a heat pump, heat and gas supply systems, ventilation, water supply, etc. It should be noted that this scientific and educational center is a pilot and the only one in Russia.
