In July-August 2022, the head of the educational and methodological department of the Tashkent State Pedagogical University named after Nizami, PhD, associate professor Abdilakimov Gafur Abdikhalikovich completed a scientific internship at the Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies.

On July 7-8, 2022, the scientific and practical conference "Urbanization and Education" was held at the Latvian University of Life Sciences and Technology. At this scientific conference, Gafur Abdilakimov got acquainted with professors and lecturers from different universities in Latvia.

On July 18, 2022, the working process of the most modern laboratory of he University of Life Sciences and Technology of Latvia, which is th largest in the Baltic region, built on the basis of a 500 million euro project of the European Union, was studied. The laboratory has a large number of equipment that students are free to use. Modern laboratories where students can study production, for example: the production of consumer goods (business incubator), the preparation of drinks, the analysis of the condition of animals, the condition of plants and lands.

In addition, G. Abdulakimov visited the scientific and technical library of the Latvian University of Natural Sciences and Technologies during the internship. He got acquainted with the fund of the scientific library and received a library card for using the library base and the opportunity to use all the scientific literature of the university.
