In order to create the necessary conditions for the analytical thinking of the youth of our country, attract them to research and innovation activities, demonstrate their intellectual potential and social adaptation of talented and enterprising youth, the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan creates Youth Technoparks and InnoX business incubators in all regions our republic. The costs associated with the creation of business incubators are financed from the Fund for Financing Science and Innovation Support.

As part of the program, Youth Technoparks have already been created in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Andijan, Tashkent, Samarkand, Syrdarya and Navoi regions.

In order to ensure the effective operation of these Youth Technoparks on December 22-23 this year the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan organized training seminars for directors of Youth Technoparks and their deputies.

As part of the training seminar, employees of the Ministry and the Fund explained in detail to the heads of technoparks the issues of formation and development of a startup ecosystem, the effective organization of a business incubation program in technoparks.

In particular, the head of the department for financing organizations, regional innovation centers and other activities in the system of the Ministry of Innovative Development B. Mirkasimov and the chief specialist of the department for financing research, innovation, development and start-up projects A.Abdunabiev told the participants of the event about the activities of the Fund for Financing Science and Innovation Support and also gave recommendations on the implementation of funded start-up projects and targeted allocation of funds.

For reference: A business incubator is a specially created structure to support entrepreneurs and small businesses at the initial stage of their activities, by providing equipped premises for offices and production, access to a network of product sales and a wide range of other services, as well as providing information and consulting assistance in all aspects of business.
